In yesterday’s post entitled Trend : Birds I featured a pair of shoes from Israeli designer, Kobi Levi. Levi’s shoes are more like sculptures, cleverly made to resemble other objects, people and things. One design which is currently available is ‘Blond Ambition’ (picture above), a shoe dedicated to Madonna’s 1990 world tour.
Levi started a blog in 2010 as a platform (excuse the pun) for his shoes. His kooky designs received world wide attention, which was highlighted when Lady Gaga used one of his designs in the video for “Born This Way.’ These incredible handmade shoes are quirky, tongue-in-cheek and, of course, very expensive.
