THE WEEK THAT WAS

A brief round-up of what we’ve seen, eaten, watched, listened to and drank this week.

We ended our trip to Prague last weekend with a visit to the David LaChapelle exhibition at the Galerie Rudolfinum.  The exhibition presents more than 100 pieces of LaChapelle’s work, from his early work in the mid-80’s, to his instantly recognisable celebrity portraits and  his most recent work, The Raft of Illusion Raging Towards Truth (2011).

What we ate

This curry was the 2011 winner of The Observer Food Monthly Award for Best Reader’s Recipe.  We replace the chicken with Quorn pieces.

What we watched

We watched rivals Real Madrid and Barcelona meet in the Copa del Rey this week. As usual in El Clasico, tempers flared with the antics of Pepe (pictured0) once again grabbing the headlines.

What we listened to

Fishscale by Ghostface Killah

What we drank

We picked up a small bottle of Zelena Absinthe Muza in Prague airport last week.  We got some guidance from youtube about the traditional way to drink it – complete with flaming sugar cube!
