At the ripe old age of 27, Children in Need mascot Pudsey Bear is finally starting to experiment with his look, thanks to some familiar names from the fashion industry. Thirty-two of the biggest fashion designers have given Pudsey a make over in the style of their own fashion house.
In yesterday’s post entitled Trend : Birds I featured a pair of shoes from Israeli designer, Kobi Levi. Levi’s shoes are more like sculptures, cleverly made to resemble other objects, people and things. One design which is currently available is ‘Blond Ambition’ (picture above), a shoe dedicated to Madonna’s 1990 world tour.

It’s been five years since Mad Men hit our screens and now the vintage 50’s trend has finally hit the runway. Americana is one of my favourite trends from Spring/ Summer 2012, keeping the 50’s style young and fresh.
From full skirts to cat eye sunglasses, it’s super-easy to incorporate the look into your wardrobe. Pastel colours and cheeky prints (such as the Cadillacs above) can be worn on dresses or as separates on pencil or A line skirts and blouses.

The kit which will be worn by Team GB at the London 2012 Olympic Games was revealed today. Designed by Stella McCartney, the Team GB kit features elements of the union jack flag. This design, as modelled by Philips Idowu and Jessica Ennis, has already faced criticism due to the lack of red used. According to a report by Professor Robert Barton and Dr Robert Hill, red is associated with winning. The more red you wear, the more likely you are to win?
