WRECKING CREW ORCHESTRA : TRON STREET DANCE

I found this amazing video clip of Japan’s Wrecking Crew Orchestra street dance group at the wonderful Kottke, but had to feature it here as it is unbelievably good.  The use of the Tron suits make this show look like an edited music video.  Really good stuff.  Check out the Wrecking Crew Orchestra here.

POSTALCO : WHEEL PRINTED NOTEBOOKS

I think these hand-printed notebooks from Postalco are great.  Japan is a nation fascinated with good stationery and this latest collection from the Japanese brand carries on the fine tradition of quality hand-made items.

The video below shows the process behind the uniquely printed covers.

Postalco have used a fascinating handmade wheeled device to print ink onto the notebook covers – all individual and one-of-a-kind.  ‘These are not wheels for rolling on the ground, but for printing’.  Nice.

Snap them up here while you can!

NAKAMURA : FREE-KICK THROUGH A BUS WINDOW!

When Shunsuke Nakamura played football for Celtic we all saw him strike some marvellous free-kicks.  Nothing quite as showy as this, though, which was a feature on a Japanese TV show recently.  What an incredible strike!  Well worth a minute of your time.
